Moon provides software for recruiting teams to search talent, manage pipelines, and run hiring workflows. This Privacy Policy explains the categories of information Moon collects, how Moon uses that information, and the choices available to people who use Moon websites, applications, and related services.

If you use Moon on behalf of an employer or recruiting team, your organization may separately control some of the information processed through the service. In those cases, Moon processes that information to provide the service requested by the customer.

Information Moon collects

Moon may collect information directly from users, from connected systems, and from normal use of the service.

• Account and profile details such as name, email address, organization, and authentication identifiers.
• Workspace content such as candidate records, notes, messages, uploaded files, and workflow settings created inside Moon.
• Integration data from services a customer connects to Moon, such as email, calendars, or applicant-tracking systems.
• Technical and usage information such as device details, browser metadata, IP address, logs, and product interaction events needed to operate and secure the service.

How Moon uses information

Moon uses collected information to operate, protect, and improve the recruiting workspace and related customer support.

• Authenticate users and maintain secure access to Moon workspaces.
• Deliver product features, including search, outreach, collaboration, and workflow automation.
• Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and enforce platform policies.
• Communicate important service updates, support responses, and operational notices.

Sharing and disclosure

Moon may share information with service providers and subprocessors that help deliver hosting, analytics, communications, security, and customer support. Moon may also disclose information when required by law, to protect Moon or its users, or as part of a merger, financing, or similar business transaction.

Security, retention, and choices

Moon uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but Moon works to limit access and retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Users may request updates or deletion of certain personal information through their organization or by contacting Moon. Requests may be subject to legal, contractual, and security limitations.
